  • Eden MacLachlan

    Chairman

    Eden is a media professional with a passion for radio broadcasting, reporting and cross-border collaboration. Eden has worked in documentary research for Swedish Public service radio, as news editor for Nordljud - nordic student radio network and as radio editor for K103.

    One of Eden’s goals is to improve and increase journalistic work between Nordic and other European countries.

  • Lily Ray

    Vice Chairman

    Lily Ray is a freelance journalist, photographer, copywriter and translator from Newcastle, Australia now living in Gothenburg, Sweden. Lily worked as a reporter at the Newcastle Herald and as a Native English editor at Off The Wall communications.

    Lily has a bachelor in Media: Journalism and Communications from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

    Lily is a passionate visual and literary storyteller with an enthusiasm for travel, culture and environmental and social justice.

  • Rita Cruz

    Communications Lead

    Rita Cruz is an investigative journalist with an interest in cross-border collaboration. Believing in its immense possibilities to find and tell stories, she has been focusing on developing her data journalism skills, with a particular focus on geodata and map designing.

    Originally from Portugal, she now lives in Gothenburg, working on a project funded by JournalismFund, while studying Geographic Information Systems, and working to grow a media community as a part of the Gothenburg Media Hub.

  • Ansbert Ngurumo

    Board Member

    Ansbert Ngurumo is an award-winning journalist with 25 years of experience, founding president and editor-in-chief of SK Media, a digital initiative committed to playing a crucial role in the making of a better society. He has made a notable editorial contribution to various media outlets in Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa and Finland writing on politics, business, human rights, health, and education.

    He is a winner of the Panos/GKP Media Award in Information Society (2003). He.has an academic background in philosophy and mass communication.

  • Alex Maxia

    Strategy & sub. Journalism Lead

    Alex works as Scandinavian correspondent for the Italian news agency ANSA and writes on Nordic affairs for BrXitish media such as BBC and The Times. He has co-produced two radio documentaries for Sveriges Radio, Swedish public service radio and works regularly for their newsroom, covering Swedish news and providing analysis on Italian affairs.

    Alex has collaborated in several cross-border investigations and worked on longer format projects such as reportages and radio documentaries.

  • Regine Glass

    Journalism Lead (on parental leave)

    A journalist, translator and producer originally from Germany. After working as a news reporter and editor in Eastern Germany, as a freelancer in Sweden, she mostly writes longform reportage, profiles and interviews on a diverse range of topics from politics to culture and travelling.

    Her work can be read in daily newspapers like "Frankfurter Rundschau", "Neues Deutschland" and "Göteborgs-Posten", print- and online-magazines like "femmit" and "Deine Korrespondentin" and seen and heard in German public service. Her academic background is in Urban Studies, Sociology & Language which influences her structural view on political issues in the Nordics.
