One story, many lives: How freelancers can get more value from their reporting | Lunch Talks

December 8 @ 12:00 - 13:00 CET
On-the-ground reporting takes time, money and brainpower. So how can freelancers make the most of everything they invest in a story?
In this session, Merle Schaack draws on her own work to show how research, interviews and reporting trips can become the basis for several distinct stories for different outlets, countries and formats. We’ll also explore how to navigate questions of exclusivity and how to spot a story’s second life before the first version is even published.
About 15 – 20 minutes presentation, followed by open discussion / Q&A.
Join us, around lunch time, at our open office. Free entrance.
